Congratulations! Our work has been published on Nature.

International top journal Nature published online the latest research paper "Digital colloid-enhanced Raman spectroscopy by single-molecule counting" by our research group on April 17, 2024. This study addresses the quantitative challenges in the field of surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy and presents a systematic exploration of the quantitative technique based on digital colloid-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (dCERS). By employing single-molecule counting, dCERS successfully achieves reliable quantitative detection of ultra-low concentration target molecules, laying an important foundation for the widespread application of surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy.
The first author of this paper is Ph.D. candidate Bi Xinyuan, and the corresponding author is Professor Ye Jian. As a senior author, Professor Shao Zhifeng made key contributions to the fundamental concepts, data analysis, as well as the refinement and revision of the manuscript. Professor Daniel M. Czajkowsky also made important contributions to the understanding of the data's physical principles and manuscript revision. Shanghai Jiao Tong University is the sole affiliation and corresponding institution of this paper.
After the publication of the paper, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, School of Biomedical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Nature "News and Views," and several domestic institutions and media outlets have reported on and congratulated this work.
